Our attorneys have successfully litigated workers’ compensation claims from the informal hearing stage up to the Connecticut Supreme Court. Some of the leading cases in Connecticut workers’ compensation law have been defended by our attorneys.
In addition to handling Connecticut workers’ compensation claims our attorneys have successfully defended claims before the Federal Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Commission. They also have experience handling tribal workers’ compensation claims.
All of our named partners have been designated as AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Four of our attorneys have been certified by the Connecticut Bar Association as specialists in workers’ compensation law. Many of the attorneys in our firm have been recognized by professional groups such as Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers. Two of our lawyers have been named by Best Lawyers publication “Lawyer of the Year” for workers’ compensation for employers; another attorney has been awarded “Lawyer of the Year” for work in litigation. Two of our attorneys have co-authored a treatise on Connecticut workers’ compensation law. Three of the attorneys in our office are members of the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers, a national organization honoring outstanding lawyers in the field of worker’ compensation law.
Our entire firm is active in the Connecticut Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Section; two of our attorneys are past Chairpersons of the CBA Workers’ Compensation Section. One of our partners is the past president of the Hartford County Bar Foundation.

The NWCDN is a nationwide network of workers’ compensation defense law firms that partner with other attorneys to provide clients with expertise, education, and guidance in the field of workers’ compensation.
